Ya ended up finding a shop not to far that had both EC-1000 and EC-1000T in stock. Impressed by both, kinda liked the feel of the 1000T a bit more so I think my choice is made.

I found in my experience that if you want something and your seem dead set on it, Gibson SG in your case, your probably better off saving the money or financing it because getting something else...

It doesn't look like a real one to me. Headstock doesn't seem to be shaped correctly, and the knob/switch placement seems peculiar. I could be totally wrong but it doesn't seem legit to me.

There's a lot of stuff out there to choose from as far as high end cables go, and I don't know or think it will have a huge affect on the sound. But for what it's worth I love and swear by Planet...
