Never had a guitar that came like it, so I've never done it when restringing. Never looked into it before either, it just sprung into my mind when I saw the pic.

Like I said, I'd personally put it in the loop, but as you'll be (presumably) using it with everything else 100% clean it probably doesn't matter much.

It's all about experimentation though, I'd have phaser next to chorus but you've chosen to put it before your drives, so you may prefer the AC3...

The other guitarist in my band has some Fender strap locks on his guitar. They fell off during a gig a couple of weeks back.
