I have a Mullard 12ax7 in V1 of my JCM2000, JJ Ecc83 in V2/V3 and a Sovtek 12ax7LPS in the PI.
The8 cleans 8are really good and the crunch and high-gain sound really nice.

I use a 2x12 and 4x12 with my 20 watt heads and there is a negligible difference. The only difference I can really tell is the 4x12 has a better bass response.

Your gonna want to use that knob...
