Find my electric guitar easier to play scales as the strings are not as high and having to jump them if you know what I mean and don't get punished as much and barre chords easier.

Just measured mine at the 12th and it's 3.5 mm and 2.0 mm at the first does this seam high.

The capo is not the problem just the tune asks...

The capo is not the problem just the tune asks for it to be played with capo on the first can play it with capo on but my problem is the A shape barre on the forth fret find it a tight squeeze...

What I am trying to do is get rid of the capo and get the same key but still play at the neck end but with chords that sound the same as with as on the first fret.
