Why don't you see a lot of fit musicians? By that I mean a cut and toned body with a lot of visible muscle such as protruding abs, biceps, triceps etc.? I am not talking about bodybuilder freak type.

I think the isolated intervals is just sort of to get one's feet wet with the basic sound. With all the ear trainers I have come across...you can ear train all the intervals, chords, inversions etc....
