Yeah a 25 inch scale length for a 7 doesn't sound too appealing to me. If you want to tune lower than B you'll need some pretty heavy strings so you can intonate properly. |

I'm not anal about pickups, but you're right Carvins are terrible. Thin and shrill, especially the neck pickup...I couldn't get them out fast enough. That's an easy fix though. I like their guitars... |
