thanks for your advise! but I am hoping for something that doesn't involve me buying a 1000 machine... If this is the only option i will take a look at renting one!

i just got the new (little more expensive) NT1 and i love it! just is a little less harsh an has a little more warmth to it. It also looks beautiful :D

Waves GTR sounds extremely muddy

Hello!

I have the waves GTR plugin so i started working with it and clean i can get very descent sounds out of it but now i am trying to get a good distortion sounds and it is somehow extremely dark...

i'd probably go for the Sa160FM. But don't you have a big music store somewhere nearby. I think it's really hard to choose a guitar from the internet unless you know exactly what you are looking...

this topic sucks... if a guitarist is "better" at playing guitar (technique) he is probably the lead guitarist. but who the hell really cares. i think having a rhythm guitarist is not a good thing...

i dont have al that graphite stuff. i just use the "big bends nut sauce" and it works great. just put a tiny bit on the saddles and in the nut and you will be fine :D
