+1 for being smart enough to experiment and solve your issues. Bugera sometimes gets a bad rap, but they are fantastic sounding heads/amps with the right application.

There's something weird going on there. I bet it's something to do with the voltage control of the infinium. A bad tube has reduced your power output significantly and unfortunately this technology...

I contacted Bugera regarding the footswitch 5pin din plug and how the plug jack can become damaged as result of the plastic guide pin breaking off. I'm waiting for a response on how to fix this issue...

Actually not that bad after the speakers are broken in. Takes a good 15hrs of LOUD playing or continuously running some good ol' guitar rock music though them...and I stress again...LOUDLY!!

Just to add...the 6262 needs to push really hard to get outta the mud(as you described). You gotta get the OT to kick in for the amp to really open up...at least 3.5 or 4(or higher) on the post gain.

Bugera finally did start "hard-wiring" the OT leads directly awhile back and I'm sure the Infinium line is no different...BUT...this whole "auto-bias/fail-safe" technology really scares the crap...
