The only difference between the G3 & the G3X is that the G3X has an expression pedal. Everything else (effects, amp sims, other features) are the same.

The Mofo 30 is a great amp, if you can get one of the older ones that was made in the UK. The more recent ones (made in China) have more questionable quality control & reliability.
