I haven't played the gibson one but the epiphone is great. played great, sounded great felt great. It's isn't just for Blues either!

I don't think that's a good Idea. You'll need like a full range speaker to do that (or a bass combo/head)

It was a Vox Double Cut i think they called them 55's or something, Had these neat pups that were like a splittable humbucker inside a p90 ( so three coils), and was set up really nicely.
