yeah man. Proper technique is an eye opener. Moving it from your knuckle joint instead of your wrist for PIMA technique is pretty insane. same thing goes for left hand technique

Judging by what you're planning to buy pedal wise, I'd recommend you find a 3 or 4 channel tube amp instead and invest in that. The results will be significantly more pleasing aurally.

Try a set of Seymour Duncan pickups (Jb series) or Dimarzio Evolution set. The Evo 2 gives a warmer less aggressive tone in the bridge pickup also if that's something you're looking for.
