Yeah, I never liked Floyd rose, they are hard to maintain. True that a strat will hold its value better. I'll put the trade on hold. I think I'll always prefer the strat tone.

I've played not too many strats myself and tested a few SGs. I like the rounded feel of SGs but I just love the sound of overdrive+bridge of a strat. Thing is in my local area, not many guitarists...
