I have a G400 and it is a solid guitar, the pickups are not the best, but the guitar is pretty nice. I've gigged with mine for over 6 yrs with only a pickup swap being done.

Yeah, Mesa uses 3/4" marine plywood, and it has a 1/2" roundover. You would not want to use a 3/4" roundover on 3/4" plywood, youwould remove too much material where the pieces of wood meet.

That Marshall is loaded with the same speakers the Blackstar is Celestion 70/80's. So I wouldn't mess with it either

Yeah the HB is cheap, but it is a pretty solid cab made of plywood and not MDF...
