So far I'm not. I haven't gotten a good tone out of it in over 2 years. I hooked the POD up via USB to my pc and it gives constant static... exceptionally disappointed.

To be completely honest, my absolute favorite neck is a maple neck with the finish dulled, and then played sweaty. It creates the softest neck I have ever felt.

I do the 0000 steel wool method. I tape off the headstock/heel of the neck so I have a nice clean line where I end. Works great every time.

Dyes if you decide to go that route, look for aniline dyes. These mix well and are far more thna you'll need for a single guitar....
