I'm not sure. If a song was "in a mode" (ie. Traditional church mode) and it then employed modal interchange to borrow a chord from a parallel mode, the song would likey not be "in a mode" anymore....

As the example clearly states that the key is E minor, and the TS is using modal names to refer to patterns of accidentals, I don't think there's much use in discussing songs that are "in modes"....
