I'm having a huge difficulty levelling the frets on a Kramer Baretta. It was brought in to me a week ago with terribly high action and the fret heights were all over the place....

Staining is easier if you know the right method. You don't just apply stain and leave it on there. And it will dry easier and faster than letting paint cure for weeks. Don't forget to clear coat...
