Will valves of an amp blow after a power outage?

We are currently experiencing load shedding. My lead guitarist has the fear that the valves will be damaged and that it will no longer function after a power cut. Will it blow or not?

I don't remember Satriani playing solos like this but its still good. Its quite long and gets dull in a few places. Maybe more variety to the backing track would've helped it from becoming to dragged...
