well if u dont want a metal pedal try using a DS-2...i have the DS-1 and i know its ****...the DS-2 is something like a Nirvana sound (kurt Cobain used this pedal) trust me its a good one |

well if u want heavy riffs try playing in a lower tuning...and pedal wise a good metal pedal is the BOSS MT-2 Metal zone pedal, that could probably give you a "chuga chuga" sound i know it works for... |
