Splawns are high gain and can be real firebreathers, but you can ratchet them up or down with the 'Gear' system which adds more gain stages and compression IIRC, going from boosted Plexi to hotrodded...

Can't speak for the newest Valvekings, but out of the box, the Jet City is the way better amp.

That's a good guitar, but you can probably do better for an amp. I would recommend a Blackheart Handsome Devil, Jet City Amps JCA20 or a used Fender Blues Junior. You can easily afford a good tube...

Not sure about sending one loop to A and the other to B. Most loopers...
