i played in a ska band for a couple years and the guitar player played a triple rec and it worked perfectly for him. The guy from less than jake uses one I'm pretty sure if it's any consolation.

I find this more tightens up the low end on most distortion channels, but this amp is a SS, and what TS needs are tubes IMO. A cab would also contribute because the speakers would push more air.
