Personally I don't see the point in the middle pickup, unless you have some very fancy wiring like series bridge/middle then I doubt...

Even with the extra string though the string spacing is way wider than my Takamine. The neck is wide and pretty flat on the back, the edges of the fretboard seem really pointy.

If you're only going to put the sticker on the pickguard then go for it. You can always swap the pickguard at a later date if you get sick of it or whatever. Should look pretty cool anyway.
