Don't use masking tape, it does not properly...

Don't use masking tape, it does not properly insulate and could cause a possible short. At least use Vinyl electrical tape, it is made to properly insulate ;)

I use KCANOS tubes if I'm looking at NOS stuff, but Tubedepot can have some good sales. Cath turned me on to TCtubes though and they seem to have good deals on NOS/ANOS tubes

even the V30 or blackshadow (cl80) loaded thiele cabs sound bigger than a standard 1x12 cab, so I'm wondering if it will do the same for a greenback type...

In a perfect world I'd get a Forte 3d cab, but he went under last year so I'm looking for a good "big" sounding 1x12...

I use SS fasteners and it is a structurally softer material than regular steel. it does dull saw-blades much faster than galvanized steel though so that is the property they want by using it for...

in Europe the Harley Benton G212 vintage is about the best deal on a cab with good speakers(V30's) you will find. In the USA whitebox and Avatar cabs are great deals and come...
