To know if it's broken? Keep turning it, if it's not doing anything and doesn't feel like it's tightening, it's probably...

Well, which way is it 'bent'?

Personally, I'd string it up and adjust with a straight edge and the truss rod. That's what the truss rod is built for.

If the truss rod isn't doing anything for the...

Well if you are having problems bending, the bigger problem is your frets.

Best bet would be to grab some very high grit sandpaper, 1000+, and lightly go over each fret to get the dings and...

It has nothing to do with the total length of string, only the portion that is oscillating.

When you pluck the guitar string, the part that is moving is only the part between the nut and the...

I have a feeling it would be strong enough, but it's kind of sketchy.

I have found that even with a super contoured neck, the added benefit isn't that great. Unless you build your own neck, I don't...

Sound quality should be good. It's a recording studio! We usually go direct through Mainstage, then just throw a cord from the headphone amp into the audio jack in the camera.

We've got another one...

Just wondering, why are you super worried about wear on the fretboard of a 'crapocaster'?

It will wear, but a whole lot of money and time spent into a not great guitar still makes it a not great...

Well, it's kind of subjective...

I use a router to get the taper right. Then I use a spoke shave to shape the neck. Files to get the neck finished.

As for fretting, I use a small hobby saw that...

If you spend a decent amount of money, you'll have a decent router. Any major name brand will work. There is no need to dump $300 dollars on something that you will only use for guitar work. I think...

I'd suggest taking off whatever finish is on the acoustic guitar first. From there, you can use just about any paint. It really depends what look you are going for.

You can use acrylics, car paint,...

It's not a great idea.

Keep sanding Holmes. The finishes they put on modern guitars now are pretty tough.
