I also run my noise suppressor after my OD, try and clear up any hum it makes.

I'm surprised at the extra noise, mine doesn't do that, although I do notice a very slight volume boost with it on, but I put this down to the buffer in it. I'd defiantly try it after the distortion...

I think he's referring to the sync time of the transmitter and receiver connecting up to each other, when they pair and lock in with each other. Once it is done this there isn't a delay at all.
