just get a heavier E. or look into some hybrid sets, I recall a set that had the top two of a set of 10's, G,D and A of a set of 11's and the E of a standard set of 12's.

Vintage 30's are just the standard for harder music, they sound good and their voicing is well suited for this stuff. most of the bands you posted use them aswell.

Look for the 6505 combo, they should be like $500/600ish new.
