yeah mine is pretty well balanced overall, its darker than my Alder/maple neck Tom Anderson for sure. But it handles a Dual Recto with the gain maxed out VERY well, clarity all the way :shrug:

I'd go with Het Set or Aftermaths personally, you might not have a great shot at getting great cleans from the Aftermaths but they excel at everything high gain...
