I've done this with Psa-1 preamp and GT-10 in 4...

I've done this with Psa-1 preamp and GT-10 in 4 cable setup with various power amps, best sound I got was with tube power amp and Velestion loaded speakers. So I'd say yes.

I use a Marshall Guvnor or DOD YJM 308 on my Tiny Terror for when I need more distortion, Budda Zenman has worked great as well, on that one I have an extra boost if needed for more saturation.
