That said, OP Ovation guitars is the brand to look at. They most closely compare to electrics with their slim necks and thin bodies....

Most people that use the TS style pedals use it for a boost and not high gained distortion. You don't have to play that way, but that's what people in the past have done.

I just speced out a jackson style neck on warmoth and it came to over 300$ pre-tax....

Also, are you sure that the trace is cut and there is no conductivity? again, this is something you can check...

Not all Les Pauls need long shaft. All epiphones (minus ES) use short shaft, as do a # of Gibson LPs.

Personally I'd go with Log for both tone and volume @ 500K, it's common on HB guitars outside...

Reviews say the tweaker is still good at low volumes, but when you get the chance to crack it up a bit more, the 12-1 range on the volume is the sweet spot.
