.012 .0039 millifarad seem to be pretty large... that's 12 and 3.9 microfarad, and the most common caps I've seen are .022 and .047 microfarad. Are you sure that's the right value?

Normally I would replace it too, but it's neck through. The shaft of the neck is solid cherry, the only pine is the wings of the headstock. Come to think of it, that's where my pieces broke off......
