I really love the feel of the PRS tremolo. I have a Gotoh 510 on my Suhr, and while I love the ease of string changes and setups, I always missed the feel of my Ibanez that had an Edge Pro on it....

a tad larger, don't know the exact thickness, but I'd say about 1.5mm ish. It's got a nice grip but the tip is polished. I got a pack being the JP fanboy I am and I just love them.

Yeah a 25 inch scale length for a 7 doesn't sound too appealing to me. If you want to tune lower than B you'll need some pretty heavy strings so you can intonate properly.

I'm not anal about pickups, but you're right Carvins are terrible. Thin and shrill, especially the neck pickup...I couldn't get them out fast enough. That's an easy fix though. I like their guitars...
