I've never seen a JS series with a TOM bridge before. The body looks like a Radius or a JS though. The 3+3 headstock leads me to believe that it's not a JS.

If you already have an SG with passive pickups then I would go for the Snakebyte. Active pickups have a very different sound but are well suited for metal. The Het Set in particular is fantastic set...

HNGD! That's a very nice guitara you have there. I love the model name, way more original than "Explorer" or "Stratocaster". I've heard those names a thousand times each, but this one is new!

I love...

The only differences that I noticed:

-The JP70 comes with a gig bag while the JP100 does not
-The JP100 has a quilted maple top

Other than that they appear to be identical in specifications. I...

Jari Maenpaa's tone from the first Wintersun album. Holy shit. I was completely blown away the first time I heard Sleeping Stars. The rhythm tone is so gritty. I think it was recorded with an Ibanez...

If you can't go used (for whatever reason) then I would look into the ESP LTD -1000 line. The EC-1000 or MH-1000 would both suit your needs well.

I would go for the Jem over the Les Paul copy. It's likely a more versatile guitar as it has a trem, 24 frets, and a middle pickup. Plus a bolt-on Les Paul just seems wrong, lol.
