The Jet City is a solid amp but like Remnest said you'd probably need a pedal to get a better metal tone. I'd suggest looking for a Peavey Valveking as well. |

I just got a Peavey Stereo Chorus 212... if all you need is volume, an incredible clean channel, and some crazy reverb settings and you have less than $200 I can't think of a better amp. |
