definitely can be done. you just gotta get bigger strings. my guitars got a 24.75 scale and i keep it in g# or g. i like 65s for the biggest string. 74 seems a bit overkill to me. |

if you have another 7 string, get the 8. if you only have 6 strings get the 7. that's my advice. and tuning a 7 string down like an 8 is not really the same thing. i've tried it. |

they don't make a footswitch for that amp specifically. just buy the valveking one. the left button switches channels and the right one turns the boost on and off. |
