In the Court does have conventional melodies. What I meant is a lot of the 70's stuff (except for Wake and Red) have a lot of "sloppy" song structures that take awhile to get a hold of. The 80's...

EDIT: Vocals don't really define punk. Verlaine, Hell, and Patti Smith had more "marbly" voices as opposed to "rough,"...

I'm glad they tried to branch out, as opposed to just making carbon-copy albums that don't differ in sound or quality. Those low points are really low, but still fun.
