sounds easy enough with a bolt on neck, with a neck thru though how would you approach that? just pick a line and sand to that and oil as you would or do you have to use a gloss finish on the neck...

Well, you can either go with lighter gauge strings, add springs, or add stronger strings. Check with Floyd Upgrades, the springs should fit an EdgeIII.

Or better yet you could just go buy a better...
