I play B standard on a six string with a Floyd Rose, purchasing a seven string guitar isn't necessary.

You'll definitely have to up your string gauge and also get the Floyd set up...

Cannibal Corpse were hardly the first to do it, and most are going to have meaning, the ones that are original artwork anyway, besides, it reflects lyrical content, which is plenty of meaning.
