I'd say Agile, my AL-2000 plays better than the Epi's I've played in stores, and I'm talking some of the higher ups too. The only one I really found an equal was the prophecy.

Those are fairly specific cases for the most part, and I'm not speakign of genetic anomalies (ie: Phelps). I'm saying, for an average person, most things you listed are attainable using some work....

In either case, if you can try it, do. It won't hurt to try an amp that you may fall in love with, because good tone is subjective.
