I don't get "metal guitars" either. What is a metal guitar, necessarily? You mean Ibanez, Schecter, Jackson and the like, correct? I chose Ibanez because you don't always have to play metal on them....

Between the two, I'd get the Fender. A great Ibanez will cost a bit more than €500, (there is a Prestige model costing a bit more) As always, it's best to try the guitars to see what you like more.
