I'd say the Bugera. I tried a 6260 combo and it will do a great job of all the genres you've mentioned, particularly the metal stuff.

Ibanez is pretty good, I'd go for a Roland MicroCube or Peavey Vypyr over the Spider personally, but it still does the job for practise.

Mine was incredibly unreliable, I got so fed up with it that I just sold it in favour of an SS amp. Shame, because it was absolutely fantastic.

I played one the other day and was absolutely amazed. Hard to use, but sounds absolutely incredible.

I'd say to look at used Bugeras, i've seen 6262 120w combos go on ebay for £350-400 and they are absolutely fantastic. If that's a bit of a stretch, personally I would look at higher end solid...

Any Vintage guitar will be decent, Ibanez GRG170DX, Ibanez GRGR321MH, you can get decent LTDs and Jacksons for about £150, Squier Affinity guitars are good.
