for beginners, just get an "instrument...
for beginners, just get an "instrument cable" with a 1/4" output on both sides of the cable. for beginners, 10 feet of cable should be nice. |

i'd use either 250k or 500k, i guess single coils are preferred with 250k. the cap should be like 0.022uF or 0.047uF. smaller, the less tone it cuts, and i personally like smaller caps since big... |

i played with my blues jr at 4 on the master...
i played with my blues jr at 4 on the master volume (12 on teh volume) with a drummer. he broke 3 pairs that jam session (i think). sticks weren't that nice, but still. he was hitting pretty hard. |
