Here is my Vampyre look alike bass. Most of the hardware is reused from an Ibanez RD300 but I went with SD Quarter pounders instead of the standard RD300 pups. Ah, it's fretless too.

heres my addition. the picture doesnt really do it justice.
mate of mine had this stinky old samick we named 'old rusty'. thats because all the hardware and strings were rusty. :p we had one of those little jam sessions where everyone switches instrument, after muckin around for a while i grabbed his gat and was like wooooow thats a nice neck. anyway, he gave the guitar back to his uncle and 4 years passed us by. we were tryin to customise this other guitar i had, but it went horribly wrong due to our lack of patience. then he says, why dont you just buy old rusty off my uncle for cheap and mod that. i dont know why i didnt think of that in the first place. anyways, thats the story behind it and im really pleased with it. not that much to it really. just new non rusty hardware, fender hot noiseless pickups and custom paint job. janine tate is the painter if anyone wants to know. shes just lucky her name was first under artists in the yellow pages. behold: |

1994 Jackson Rhoads Repainted Nuclear Yellow with all black hardware. Came into my possession for $230 with a hardshell case but it was a bit nicked up and black guitars are a little boring.
Before: After: Also I deep cleaned the fretboard, polished the frets, thoroughly cleaned all the hardware and put in a set of Dimarzio Breeds. Full restoration and more pictures in the thread in my sig

![]() that's a pic i took when it wasn't quite done, i put on a thin clear coat of lacquer and it looks a little lighter now. was originally a candy apple red sparkle kinda thing. i changed out the neck and bridge pickups for some rail pickups, and threw an ibanez s1 in the middle just because i like that pickup for some odd reason. |

Put a GFS Fat PAF in the bridge (with coil-tap) and a Dream 90 in the neck. Really good sounding and versatile configuration. Oh, and the black thing below the bridge is a pick-holder ![]() |

This was an Ibanez but I've gone through and replaced all the electronics and hardware. Nothing is left in its stock form. The pups are Dimebucker in the bridge and Evolution in the neck. the switch is wired to have bridge, both, neck, neck, kill(Random wiring my dad and I came up with). 2 volume knobs

Hey all. I built this guitar from scratch last year at my school. My teacher has built guitars before so thanks to him i was able to do this. I wanted a sg but something a little different and i wanted it simple but not boring. The headstock is very similar to a Esp F-series, so yes i stole that design off them haha, but anyways here are some pictures of it. Most of the hardware is Gotoh, i dont know what the pickup is, it doesent sound any good and really need to replace it! My dad used to paint cars so im not sure what he did when he painted it but it turned out sweet. Cheers everyone
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also this is my Yamaha Pacifica that i stenciled on the pick guard. Im going to be putting one Emg 81 in it very soon, ill post a pic when its done ![]() |

![]() ![]() I got bored one day and decided to spruce up my EPIC PIECE OF CRAP Warlock. I used nothing but electrical tape, a sharpie, a guitar pick, and my brain. As you probably can tell, the electrical tape (somewhat) covers up the hole where my tone knob got pushed into the guitar, while the sharpie hides nicks and scratches. The quotes from some of my favorite musicians are: Jimi Hendrix When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace. John Lennon The establishment irritates you to make you fight because once they've got you violent they know how to handle you. What they don't know how to handle is non-violence and humor. James Hetfield We didn't set out to make history or whatever. **** happens. Simon & Garfunkel Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again. Ozzy Being sober on a bus is, like, totally different than being drunk on a bus I can't wait to get a new guitar... |

This is a strat copy i have had in storage for like 8 years, bought it off my brother for $50 but the wiring was messed up so i bought a better guitar.
It used to be black.Really ruff looking, scratches and rusty. I just took it back to wood,re-shaped the head stock, treated it with Danish oil and gave a couple of coats of polyurethane.Polished all the chrome hardware, replaced every nut, bolt and screw and re-wired the whole thing. It has a dimarizo DP155 humbucker in the bridge ,not sure of the other two pick ups.I'm not sure of the make of the guitar,it has a ESP trem and the serial in the neck cavity starts with "SQ" . This was my first guitar build, really happy with how it came out,it sounds good too. ![]() |
