The January Pact

UPDATE: Alright guys, new mission.

Tomorrow (or today, wherever you are) you are to talk to 5 complete strangers, and for each one, you must find out their favourite band.

It might be a challenge to steer your conversation that way, but we aren't here to complete easy tasks.

I'm putting this in the OP.

So we had alot of participants in my New Years Pact thread.

This January I'm putting forth a new idea.

There are a lot of people on here who probably didn't get a New Years kiss. Hell, most of you probably have never been kissed in your life.

This isn't about that.

Lately I've been getting more socially confident. I was never a confident person, and was more a listener, and stayed at home most of the time anyway.

I've been getting courage and talking to girls more lately. Just the other day I was shopping for bathers, and just walked up to a girl who was working and asked her:

"Hey I hardly ever shop for bathers lol I usually wear shorts. What are guys actually meant to wear"

Then we started joking around and flirting for like 5 minutes, and she got her friend over.

Then they invited me out with them that night.

I didn't actually go, because I couldn't be ****ed to be honest, and I'm still a bit of a pussy.

But there was an oppertunity.

I want you guys to join in on this. Our aim is to talk to girls, girls we don't know. We're going to expand our social groups and see if we can get dates, or even just new friends.

Together we're going to conquer Social Awkwardness.

Probably doesn't count for this thread, but w/e

EDIT: I could use some friends though

I only have like 2-3 good friends. My other goal will be to be more social with people at work. Worth a shot anyway

Personally, I'm applying this to other things...I wanna perform music to people, I don't think I'll achieve it completely or be ready by the end of this month but at least with this to motivate me it'll be easier to accomplish.
