Since you are self taught, what was one of the biggest mistakes you made as a beginner that you would change?

I learned bass first, and I never knew that I should keep my thumb over the top of the fretboard, which most people do. As a result, when I play barre chords, or chords with a stretch, for example, minor add9 chords (Fmadd9=13511), my thumb is usually right on the middle of the neck. I would also have learnt the classical style of fingerpicking much earlier, if I were to do it again.

Stud Muffin, question.. How can you be cuter than Bieber since '92 if he wasn't born until '94?
Not that I'm saying you're not! Even if you looked like this... ![]() You'd still be better looking than Bieber. |
