I'm going out for an hour or two now, so when I get back I'll add any more applicants, and hopefully someone will have made a PS3 and PC platoon. I was going to sign up for a PSN Name myself, but their servers are under maitenance. However, if anyone can tell me if their's a way to sign in as a PC user (even though I don't play it on PC) that would make this a lot easier.

I just checked an I'm very sure platoons are by platform. When you're creating one it says it will create it for "this soldier and this platform" meaning your active soldier and it's platform. I'll make the PS3 one in a second.

Jets. Three classes of helicopter (scout, attack, transport) rather than 2. Same for tanks (transport, infantry-fighting, full on fuck-off Abrams-style tank). Prone. Entire new class in the Support class.

****in A-91 and an IRNV scope and I am one happy mofo. Just now started trying to learn jets a little. Its really fun, but they always bail out when I disable the enemy jets in a dog fight, so I never get any actual kills it seems.  Whenever I lose in a dog fight, I always own them with my stinger as im parachuting to safety in the air....they never know wth happened.

Yeah, first of all switching the D-pad button for healthkits pissed me off as well. I definately immediately noticed substantial differences in this one from BF2. The maps for one, aren't as 'open'. You could be in Africa Harbor and have a pretty good view of the whole map, only really a few maps like that here, though they all are still good. Theres still places to kind of just chill and be by yourself, but they are harder to find in this game. (My dad plays on my account and usually likes to do this or he gets murked.) He was really actually pretty good on BF2, but these maps are too high paced. Also the setup of the game is difficult for him. You really have to utilize all the features given to you to excel and he just wants to shoot people. Setting up was easier on BF2. The tall structure in operation firestorm is awesome. They had one just like that in the old pc games, I nostalgia'd hard. I think this game is a lot more fun then BF2 if you are good at it. If you aren't able to keep up, then it sucks. Unlike BF2, where if you weren't that great you still wouldnt go 1-11. (thanks for messing up my k/d ratio, dad. Also, Norsh-whatever Canals is a great map for team deathmatch.
