I can only play the fade to black intro (the higher part, you know starts on b string 15th fret) at maybe 30bpm...so it would be only 10bpm if I do this challenge...should I try it faster or stick to the 30bpm...maybe 40? I'll be alt-picking it (i've only played with a pick for a week ).

Regarding this 21 Day method, would it be alright to practice several songs a day? Or it undermines the whole idea of forming a habit? I mean, I have learned like 20 different songs, but I can't play any of them perfectly, far from it. But to master all those songs with this method it would take more than a year.

What if after 21 days playing slow, and it's time to speed things up and you realise you should have started with an up pick? ... Doh!

So if I say I'm going to learn this or this, should I only stick to playing that or can I learn other things or play other things too as long as they are at a decent speed where I don't make mistakes?

So I can play this scale, and that one, and play the sweet child o mine solo and after 21 days i'll have noticed an improvement?

Will the improvement lead to me play faster and be applied to everything?

i did the 21 day challenge for about 12 days and it is really good, i can only imagine how good i would be if i actually did it for 21 full days. but i get impatient...
