You can't tell what a chord is by just posting the guitar, you need to post the entire voicing.

It's not Amin6 because it's functioning as a ii chord.

I just wrote it down without thinking; only saw the 3rd after I went to back recheck what was going on after you posted, griff.

Now that I look at it, it's pretty obvious that the 2nd chord functions as a ii. My bad; still getting back into the wing of things.

But there's no 13, only b13 AND there's no 7th. If it functions as D# (Eb) it would
be D# addb9 addb13 (no 3rd) which is horrible to be honest.

A more elegant name would be a rootless G#m6add9, but the functione determines its name...

The tension from the C clashing with the B in the same octave is cool.

I'd call it Am add9.

So just some ways to use it... but just think of it as Am, and in your progression hunting days - it makes a nice replacement for same ol open chord shapes.
