This is actually really good everyone. FYI. Production and lyrics and performance are all AT LEAST on par with Im Gay, if not better, and this is 34 tracks strong (w/ no features). Srsly, the production is soooo good. Really surpassed my expectations, cuz I was ready for a silly little #based mixtape based (pun intended) on the cover art (even Kanye won't put his own self-referential quote on an album).

Bitch breathe slow.

That quote thing makes me want to listen to it. But 34 tracks? Even for a rap album (or mixtape) that's a lot.

34 songs?

Sounds like Lil B will start mixing and producing with Insect Warfare.

It's really hard to get all the way through, but he's basically giving away a double album for free. And it's more or less good all the way through (I've only given it two full listens though). It's even more cray when you consider that he just released a mixtape last month. BasedGod you so crazy.

i don't know why i bothered downloading it. i keep trying with each mixtape Lil B puts out and i keep thinking that he's generally terrible outside of the stuff that Clams produced.

know what mixtape doesn't suck? the new KRIT. the couple tracks that i wasn't initially into have really grown on me. guy knows exactly how to play to his strengths, both on the production and rapping side of things.

So I still don't like Lil B.

I'm trying, cuz I find him funny. But I just don't like his rapping at all.

He sort of reminds me of my Lil Wayne impression where I just say nonsensical lines that end with rhyming words.

I do like the new KRIT.

i just wish that everything Lil B did didn't sound so lazy because i know the guy has a crazy work ethic to keep pumping tape after tape out, but i'm pretty certain that if he spent more than a couple of months on something i'd be able to get behind it.

and yes, i realize that the whole tossed off, super prolific thing is part of the guy's supposed charm.

I generally like most of Lil B's stuff. My computer is broken though, so I can't get the mixtape yet. ;_;

I liked B's new mixtape more than KRIT's, and I wouldn't think it's just cuz of my very rare and based perceptual set. Like I said, I didn't expect it like it so much.

I've been listening to LIVELOVEA$AP a lot the last few days. I've always liked it, but recently it's sounded so much more consistent than before. Weird. I know Rocky's not the best rapper or anything, but he pulls off whatever he's pulling off pretty ****ing perfectly. Trillwave 4 lyf.

MY EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE IS WORKING!!

I can finally put new stuff on my iPod. Everyone post links to mixtapes that came out between the beginning of December and now. So far I have Heems/Kool AD, ^that Lil B, and the new KRIT.

Also, I've seriously listened to nothing but Das Racist for the last 5 days. I finally "get" Sit Down, Man.

Anybody here listen to Blue Scholars? I'm listening to the track 'Cornerstone' right now, and it's pretty chill. Are they worth further exploration?

Yes. Their s/t and Bayani are both good albums. Some of my favourite hip-hop albums.

I mean I see lots of bros or whatever listening to them. Like the kind of people who listen to Andrew WK or the Bloodhound Gang. It's kinda weird.
