Floyd Rose setup/string change question

Hey so right now I have my guitar set up in Drop C with a floyd rose. Right now it has 12s strings and I wanna tune up to Eb with 9.5s or 10s. I had it set up by known guitar shop... should I just have it set up again or is it something I can do myself? Are there truss rod adjustments necesary?

you might have to adjust the truss rod but its nothing you can't do yourself.

take it to a shop and ask them if you can watch them do it, then watch and learn.

truss rod adjustment is probably necessary if you like where your action is at, but thats pretty easy.

and also you'll have to adjust the springs in the back so your bridge is flat again.

other than that,no problem.

Wouldn't faff about with the truss personally. All you'll have to do is adjust the springs at the back to compensate for the change in tension.
Also your intonation might be a little out which is adjustable.

It's easy when you know how so it's a good idea to watch and learn, maybe youtube has a video of it.

If you follow a good guide, you should be good to go. (like the one in my signature)

Don't mess around with the trussrod just yet, it might not even be necessary.
