Feast of Dreams (ambient orchestral/metal instrumental)

hey guys, i have a quiet little instrumental i've been working on. the entire thing is a buildup to the guitar riff at the end which i really like, but haven't gotten around to fleshing out the rest of the song (which will continue to sound dark and twisted as this riff hopefully does).

my main concern is whether the song drags on too long for the metal to come in.

it's "Feast of Dreams (unfinished)", first in my profile. leave a song or two for c4c, or i'll choose for you! thanks!

I like the arrangement ALOT ! This is quite epic but I think this would fare better as a track alone...kinda like how LoG brought in Reclamation on Wrath....its a good buildup but if u leave it alone on a track I think it'll bore people out...got nothing to say on production..it's top notch =)

The ending riff is awesome, really sinister sounding but I find the piano parts a bit dragging. But thats just me... and I hate intros longer than 10 seconds Anyway you have some fine tunes on your profile, never thought about getting a soundcloud profile?

I actually think it leads nicely into your song Catharsisthing and you should blend the two

Nice arrangement and I can appreciate your obvious talents but just from a purely personal taste point of view, I wasn't a huge fan of the song. I'm listening to a few of your other ones now though and headbanging ever so slightly

Thanks for your crit of mine!

Wow ! That is pretty damn awesome, I love it !
I was wondering what VST you used for the piano and strings, it sounds pretty damn good...
As for it dragging on too much, I love long intros so I say it's perfect, but others might not agree with me ^^
And like IronMark666 said, it leads very well into Catharsisthing, it's also very epic

My own inferior track: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru....php?p=29784587
