Said when he left us that Morrison would amount to nothing.

As for Barton, I honestly think that his attempt to calm down and behave himself are genuine, but he's so much of a natural twat, that he just can't help himself.

Nothing (as far as I'm aware). SMH mentioned him upthread, so that's what I was responding to.

Looks a cut above most of the striking talent in the Championship at the moment. If he carries on scoring like this someone will buy him in January, and he'll probably flop.

Edit: He's actually only got 4 goals, thought he'd scored more

Part of the Wonga family.

Rudi Skacel is in Edinburgh and he is training with Hearts. I will not get excited.

Fair enough, papers were reporting that Pat Rice went to watch him, apparently to see if he would be good enough to replace Walcott.

I think they think doing this will make people grow to like them. Seeing the comments (still) on twitter/Newcastle forums etc, it wont work

I can't see how anyone can even be upset about this.. You'd have to be ******ed. A company is paying us money to call the stadium what it was called for 100 years. Its win/win. We get money, the stadium gets its "heritage" back, and Wonga do themselves a lot of favours in the North East at least by doing so.

I mean look at it like this, you can call it the Wonga Stadium or something, and be hated, but get some exposure through it.. Or, they can be the company that "gave us our history back"> Good business on all parts imo.

Villa are sponsored by a casino. Theres no uproar about them encouraging all of their fans to become gambling addicts.
